Hydrating Stride for a Cure: Supporting Hong Kong Cancer Fund

On June 29th, hundreds of participants gathered at Tai Tam Country Park for the Hong Kong Cancer Fund’s annual Stride for a Cure, raising vital funds for free cancer care and support services across Hong Kong. Life Solutions partnered with the event and set up high-capacity water refill stations at the starting point to ensure walkers were well-hydrated before setting off onto the trail.

Wellness for People, Respect for Nature

Tai Tam Country Park features some of Hong Kong’s most cherished nature trails. Hosting a large-scale outdoor charity walk in such an environment requires a responsible approach to waste management, as outdoor events frequently generate thousands of single-use plastic bottles that risk ending up in country parks and waterways.

By stationing filtered water refill points at the starting area, Life Solutions enabled participants to fill their reusable bottles before setting off and replenish upon completing their walk. This simple setup eliminated single-use plastic bottle waste from the event, preserving the natural beauty of Tai Tam while supporting a critical community cause.
